( Bundle ) - Atmospheric Vocal Sound + Cosmos - Korg Wavestate / Native - Description
Imagine a voice emerging from a distant world, surrounded by vast synthesizer textures, shimmering harmonies and slowly evolving electronic landscapes.
Atmospheric Vocal Sounds + Cosmos Bundle for Korg Wavestate brings together 62 Performances that explore the relationship between the emotional power of the human voice and the immersive possibilities of modern electronic synthesis.
Combining the distinctive vocal programming of Ian Dixon with the cosmic sound design of Nick Klimenko, this collection introduces two complementary musical perspectives: one centred on expressive choirs and atmospheric voices, the other on expansive strings, vector pads, evolving textures and deep electronic environments.
The result is a versatile sound palette for composers and performers who want to create music with a stronger sense of space, emotion and sonic identity.
Atmospheric Vocal Sounds – Giving Emotion a Voice
Atmospheric Vocal Sounds contributes 22 Performances dedicated to one of the most evocative elements of electronic music: synthesized voices.
Its selection combines rich, evolving choirs, nostalgic Mellotron-style textures, atmospheric digital vocals and sounds inspired by the expressive synthesizer traditions of Vangelis and the Korg Wavestation.
Vangelis Choir, Wavestation Whisper Voices, Dual Tape Choir and Soundscape Choir explore different vocal personalities, from familiar vintage-inspired textures to more immersive electronic atmospheres.
Other sounds, including Vocal Pad, HP Vocoder and Vector Vocal, introduce contrasting tonal colours for melodic arrangements, sustained harmonies and creative sound design.
These Performances can provide the emotional centre of a cinematic passage, add an ethereal dimension to an ambient composition or introduce distinctive vocal textures into contemporary electronic productions.
The library is programmed using the Wavestate's built-in sample material, allowing its sounds to be loaded without requiring an additional samplebank.
Cosmos – Expanding the Musical Horizon
Cosmos contributes 40 Performances inspired by the vastness of space and the expressive possibilities of vector-based synthesizer sound design.
Created by Nick Klimenko, the collection explores lush strings, deep drones, evolving keys, atmospheric plucks and complex vector pads, bringing together musical textures that range from intimate electronic details to expansive cosmic environments.
Sounds such as A Journey Cosmos, Aurora Cosmos, Binary Star Cosmos and Earthshine Cosmos suggest contrasting musical landscapes, while Hypergalaxy Cosmos, Massive Star Cosmos, Quasar Cosmos and Shadows Of Saturn Cosmos reflect the collection's imaginative space-inspired character.
Its evolving textures and layered synthesizer sounds offer a compelling palette for ambient arrangements, science-fiction soundtracks, cinematic sequences and experimental electronic composition.
Where Atmospheric Vocal Sounds introduces recognizable vocal expression, Cosmos develops the surrounding musical environment through harmonic depth, spatial character and continuously changing electronic textures.
A More Expressive World for Composition and Performance
The real strength of this bundle lies in the creative relationship between these two approaches.
Voices introduce presence and emotion. Cosmic textures establish the atmosphere in which those voices can exist.
A composition can begin with an expressive choir, gradually introduce expansive strings and develop into a spacious electronic arrangement. An atmospheric vocal texture can provide a melodic identity, while an evolving pad or drone creates tension, depth and movement.
In studio production, the two collections offer complementary material for layering and developing cinematic arrangements. Vocal textures can become the emotional focus of a passage, while the expansive sounds of Cosmos help establish its harmonic and atmospheric setting.
For live electronic performers, the bundle provides different musical directions within the same synthesizer platform, from expressive vocal-based Performances to immersive cosmic textures and evolving electronic instruments.
The collection is particularly suited to ambient music, cinematic scoring, space music, downtempo, atmospheric electronica and experimental sound design, where emotional expression and the surrounding sonic environment play equally important roles.
Both libraries take advantage of the creative possibilities of Korg's Wave Sequencing architecture, while maintaining distinct musical identities shaped by their respective programmers.
Atmospheric Vocal Sounds + Cosmos Bundle brings together 62 Performances that connect vocal expression with expansive electronic sound design.
From nostalgic digital choirs and Mellotron-inspired textures to deep cosmic drones, lush strings and intricate vector pads, this collection gives musicians a broader range of expressive possibilities for creating atmospheric compositions and immersive electronic soundscapes.
