( Bundle ) - Aether + Weather Station - Korg Wavestate / Native - Description
Every atmosphere has its own movement. Some sounds unfold gently, like the first light of morning. Others build tension, shift unexpectedly or suggest the vastness of an approaching storm.
Aether + Weather Station Bundle for Korg Wavestate / mkII / SE / Native explores this expressive relationship between light, space and the natural elements through 80 Performances and 68 additional Programs. Combining the delicate sample-based synthesis of Aether by Otto K. Schwarz with the weather-inspired electronic soundscapes of Weather Station, the collection offers two different perspectives on atmospheric sound design.
Aether contributes 40 Performances built around a dedicated 2 GB samplebank, bringing an airy, melodic dimension to the Wavestate. Its evolving pads, shimmering bells, delicate strings, expressive leads, atmospheric keys and vocal textures create rich harmonic environments without sacrificing clarity or musical detail. Sounds such as Aether Dawn, Floating Gardens, Celestial Halo and Choir Waves reflect its luminous character, while subtle arpeggios and electronic sequences introduce gentle motion and rhythmic expression.
The collection is equally effective for sustained ambient passages and more structured compositions, where layered textures, harmonic movement and expressive synthesizer voices can develop naturally.
Weather Station – The Sound of an Ever-Changing Sky
Weather Station introduces another dimension with 40 Performances, 68 Programs and 74.2 MB of custom multisamples.
Inspired by meteorological phenomena, astronomical environments and futuristic landscapes, its sound palette combines analog-style and digital waveforms with evolving synthesis, atmospheric effects and richly textured electronic sounds.
From the mysterious character of Dark Sky and Mystery Pad to the spacious environments suggested by North Coast, Rain Scope 1 and Space Scenes, Weather Station explores the changing moods of an imaginary sonic landscape. Deep drones, animated pads, sci-fi effects and hybrid electronic textures give the collection a more unpredictable and exploratory personality.
The additional 68 Programs extend its usefulness beyond the complete Performances, providing individual sound elements for custom layers, new combinations and further experimentation within the Wavestate.
From First Light to the Edge of Space
The musical advantage of this bundle lies in the contrast between Aether's luminous harmonic expression and Weather Station's evolving environmental textures.
Aether can establish the emotional foundation of a composition through delicate pads, airy voices or melodic synthesizer parts. Weather Station can transform that environment with darker atmospheres, unusual electronic details, rhythmic movement and expansive science-fiction textures.
A peaceful ambient passage can gradually develop into a more dramatic cinematic sequence. Bright synthesizer layers can contrast with mysterious drones, while melodic arpeggios introduce direction and energy to otherwise spacious compositions.
This combination gives producers and composers a flexible palette for ambient music, cinematic scoring, space music, Berlin School, experimental electronica and futuristic sound design. It is equally relevant to musicians developing long-form electronic pieces, atmospheric performances and evolving synthesizer arrangements.
Aether + Weather Station Bundle brings together two distinct interpretations of electronic atmosphere: one shaped by light, melody and harmonic depth, the other by the changing character of weather, space and synthetic motion. With 80 Performances, 68 additional Programs and extensive custom sample material, it offers a versatile collection for creating immersive electronic music with atmosphere, contrast and musical identity.
