Aether for Korg Wavestate / Wavestate Native is a collection of 40 original sample-based Performances that explores the brighter, more ethereal side of electronic synthesis.

Created by sound designer Otto K. Schwarz, Aether brings together evolving pads, crystalline bells, delicate arpeggios, expressive leads, atmospheric keys, strings and airy vocal textures in a cohesive sound library for cinematic and electronic composition.

Its musical identity is built around light, space and movement.

Rather than concentrating on dark cinematic tension, Aether explores open harmonic textures, shimmering soundscapes and slowly transforming synthesizer colours. The collection evokes wide atmospheric spaces, gentle melodic movement and the expressive character of classic electronic music.

Drawing inspiration from ambient synthesis, Berlin School sequences and the melodic electronics of the 1980s, Aether combines detailed sample-based sound design with the evolving capabilities of Korg's Wave Sequencing environment.

At the centre of Aether are 14 atmospheric pads, designed to provide harmonic depth, gradual movement and expressive musical colour.

These Performances explore shimmering layers, soft evolving textures, spacious synthesizer tones and delicate harmonic transitions.

Sounds such as PD Aether Dawn, PD Celestial Halo, PD First Light, PD Floating Gardens and PD Luminous Dust reflect the collection's luminous and atmospheric character.

Their emphasis on evolving timbres makes them particularly suitable for ambient arrangements, cinematic underscoring, reflective electronic compositions and extended harmonic passages.

Complementing the pads are three dedicated atmospheres, expanding the library with additional environmental textures and soundscape-oriented material.
