Archetype + Ethereal Bundle for Arturia Pigments / Analog Lab / AstroLab brings together two complementary sound libraries built for cinematic electronic production, immersive scoring and modern atmospheric sound design.

This bundle combines Archetype, a focused 20-preset cinematic sound set designed for sci-fi, horror, dystopian media and game audio, with Ethereal, a refined 45-preset soundset built around the creative depth of Pigments’ granular engine, wavetable synthesis and advanced modulation system. Together, they create a 65-preset collection for producers and composers who need both darker cinematic pressure and more emotional atmospheric movement.

Archetype gives the bundle its sharp, visual and dramatic side. It is designed for scenes where sound must suggest danger, machinery, cold space, threat, impact or psychological tension. Its presets include resonant basses, frozen pads, hybrid brass, horror FX, synthetic keys, bells and percussive synth elements, with integrated effects chains and macro-based real-time control.

This makes Archetype especially useful for film cues, game scenes, trailer moments, sci-fi environments, dystopian sequences and dark electronic productions where every sound needs a clear role inside the arrangement.

Ethereal opens the bundle into a wider and more emotional dimension. Together, the two libraries create a strong contrast. Archetype is darker, more physical and more direct: bass pressure, horror FX, hybrid brass, dystopian impact and media-scoring tension. Ethereal is more spacious, emotional and atmospheric: granular pads, drones, soundscapes, arps, ambient motion and cinematic depth.

Used together, they give Arturia Pigments users a powerful workflow for modern soundtrack and electronic production. You can build the emotional foundation of a track with Ethereal’s pads, drones and soundscapes, then use Archetype to add tension, impact, bass weight, horror detail or synthetic brass.
