( Bundle ) - Funky Leads & Basses + Classic Synths & More - Sequential Prophet 6 - Description
From the energy of a funk bassline to the depth of an atmospheric soundscape, the Sequential Prophet-6 has many different musical voices.
Funky Leads & Basses + Classic Synths & More Bundle brings those voices together in a collection of 96 original analog presets, designed to explore a wider range of musical roles, playing techniques and creative possibilities.
Rather than concentrating on one particular sound or genre, this bundle combines two distinct approaches to synthesizer programming. One emphasizes the immediacy of expressive leads and rhythm-driven basses; the other explores the harmonic richness of vintage polyphonic sounds, evolving textures and experimental electronic effects.
The result is a collection in which contrast becomes a creative advantage, offering musicians different ways to approach composition, performance and sound design with the same instrument.
The Energy of Funk Meets the Freedom of Synthesis
Funky Leads & Basses provides the rhythmic and melodic foundation of the bundle with 50 dedicated presets: 30 expressive leads and 20 analog basses.
Its sound selection draws on the musical vocabulary of funk, jazz fusion, R&B and soul, ranging from smooth solo voices to harmonically rich leads and more assertive electronic tones.
Fusion Lead, Talking Lead, Jamiroquai Lead and Modern Solo demonstrate different approaches to melodic expression, while Phat Bass, Moog Bass, Chameleon Bass and Funky Bass explore contrasting low-end characters for syncopated grooves, melodic basslines and contemporary arrangements.
Most of these presets use Unison mode, emphasizing the presence and density of individual notes. This focused approach gives the Prophet-6 a distinctive role as a solo instrument and a source of powerful analog bass sounds.
Classic Synths & More expands the palette with 46 additional presets, introducing a broader selection of traditional and imaginative synthesizer textures.
Classic Prophet, Vintage Horns, Bright Brass and Big Strings explore the character of classic analog keyboards, while Analog Pad, Future Pad and Crystal Pad provide contrasting harmonic layers for pop arrangements, synthwave and atmospheric compositions.
Plucks and arpeggiated sounds such as Organic Pluck, Night Arp and Reso Arp add articulation and movement. Meanwhile, Galaxy Pad, Stardust, Alien Ship and Digital Insects take the collection into more experimental territory, opening up possibilities for ambient music, cinematic textures and futuristic sound design.
More Musical Roles. More Creative Possibilities.
The relationship between these two libraries is what makes the bundle particularly useful.
In the studio, a production can begin with a bassline from Funky Leads & Basses, develop around a melodic synthesizer lead and gain harmonic depth through the brass, strings and pads of Classic Synths & More. Arpeggiated patterns and electronic effects can introduce movement, transitions and atmospheric details.
For live keyboardists, the expanded selection supports different roles across songs and arrangements: energetic funk solos, expressive bass parts, classic polyphonic accompaniment and spacious electronic textures.
This versatility also encourages musicians to cross stylistic boundaries. A funk arrangement can incorporate atmospheric synthesizer layers. A synthwave production can benefit from expressive fusion leads. An ambient composition can gain rhythmic identity through analog basses and arpeggios.
Although the libraries explore different musical priorities, they share a coherent analog character. Both were programmed with Vintage Mode enabled, taking advantage of the subtle voice variations that contribute to the distinctive sound of the Prophet-6.
Their program locations are also complementary: Funky Leads & Basses occupies 300–349, while Classic Synths & More occupies 350–395. This allows the complete collection to be organized in a continuous range of user memory locations.
With 96 presets spanning leads, basses, brass, strings, pads, plucks, arpeggios and electronic effects, the bundle offers much more than an increased selection of sounds.
It brings together the focused musical expression of a groove-oriented synthesizer library and the broader possibilities of classic and experimental sound design.
Funky Leads & Basses + Classic Synths & More Bundle transforms the Prophet-6 into a more versatile creative instrument, connecting the energy of performance with the depth of synthesis and giving musicians new ways to develop their own musical identity.
