APL005 - Complete Synth Collection - Sequential Prophet 5 / 10 Rev 4 ( 72 presets )

Classic Synth Collection - Sequential Prophet 5 / 10 Rev 4 ( 72 presets ) - Description

A classic analog synthesizer should be able to do more than recreate the past. It should drive the rhythm, give a melody its identity, shape the harmony and bring character to every arrangement.

COMPLETE Synth Collection for Sequential Prophet-5 and Prophet-10 Rev4 brings together 72 original presets designed to explore these musical roles through the distinctive analog architecture of Sequential's celebrated synthesizer reissues.

From deep funk basses and expressive solo leads to vintage brass, warm polysynths, evolving pads and imaginative electronic effects, this collection gives musicians a broad range of sounds for soul, funk, R&B, pop and contemporary electronic production.

16 Basses – The Foundation of the Groove

A great synth bass can change the entire character of a track.

The 16 bass presets in COMPLETE Synth Collection explore contrasting approaches to low-frequency analog synthesis, from rounded, full-bodied tones to resonant and more aggressive electronic sounds.

Phat Bass, Sawtooth Bass, Sync Bass and Reso Bass provide distinct tonal colours, while Funky Bass, Deeper Underground and Show Me Love extend the selection toward groove-oriented and dance-influenced arrangements.

The collection also includes sounds named after recognizable pop and electronic references, such as Thriller, Man in the Mirror, Black or White and Prodigy, offering additional possibilities for cover performances and original productions.

These bass sounds give the Prophet-5 and Prophet-10 a strong rhythmic identity, whether used for syncopated funk lines, melodic bass parts or more direct electronic grooves.

24 Leads – Give Every Melody Its Own Voice

A synthesizer lead is more than a tone. Its character influences phrasing, articulation and the way a musician approaches an entire solo.

The 24 lead presets explore smooth melodic voices, harmonically rich synthesizer sounds and more assertive analog textures.

Fusion Lead, Soft Lead and Express Lead provide contrasting options for melodic playing, while Sync Lead, Talking Lead, Modern Lead and Rock Machine introduce a more pronounced electronic personality.

Sounds such as Jamiroquai Lead, Bernie Lead and Cosmic Lead add further variety, making the selection particularly useful for jazz-fusion improvisation, soulful keyboard solos, funk performances and contemporary arrangements.

Together, these leads provide different musical voices rather than variations of a single synthesizer character.

32 Synths, Pads & FX – Beyond Basslines and Solos

The remaining 32 presets open the collection to a much wider range of musical applications.

Vintage Horns, Bright Brass, Reso Poly and Juno Poly explore the familiar harmonic character of classic polyphonic synthesizers. Analog Pad, Big Strings, OB-X Pad and Major Poly offer contrasting sounds for accompaniment, sustained harmonies and expressive chordal passages.

The collection also extends into more atmospheric and experimental territory.

Stardust, Night Sky, Galaxy Pad and Outer Space introduce spacious synthesizer textures, while Alien Ship, Dark Cave, Air FX and Dew Drops provide distinctive electronic colours for sound design, transitions and cinematic arrangements.

More articulated sounds such as Simple Pluck, Funky Clav and Percu Pluck add rhythmic definition, complementing the collection's sustained textures and melodic voices.

This broader palette makes COMPLETE Synth Collection particularly valuable for musicians who use their Prophet as both a traditional keyboard instrument and a source of creative electronic sounds.

One Analog Instrument, Many Musical Possibilities

The defining strength of COMPLETE Synth Collection is the relationship between its three sound categories.

A powerful synth bass can establish the groove, an expressive lead can introduce the main melodic idea, and a warm polysynth or atmospheric pad can complete the harmonic arrangement. Electronic effects and plucked sounds provide further rhythmic detail and sonic contrast.

This makes the library useful not only for individual keyboard parts, but also for developing more elaborate musical productions.

For live keyboardists, the collection offers a broad selection of sounds for funk, soul, pop and electronic performances. In the studio, its combination of basses, leads and polyphonic textures supports songwriting, arrangement, synthesizer recording and sound design.

Designed specifically for the modern Sequential Prophet-5 and Prophet-10 Rev4 reissues, the presets are organized for loading into User Groups 3 and 4 through MIDI System Exclusive transfer.

COMPLETE Synth Collection brings 72 carefully selected analog sounds to the Prophet-5 and Prophet-10 Rev4, combining the unmistakable character of classic Sequential synthesis with the flexibility required for modern musical performance and production.

From the first bass note to the final atmospheric detail, this is a sound library designed to give the Prophet a meaningful role throughout the entire arrangement.
